Having won the US presidential election, Donald Trump has reiterated his pledge to build a wall on US-Mexico border.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — US President-elect Donald Trump said in an interview aired Sunday that he was committed to building a wall or a fence on the US border with Mexico to stop the migrant influx.

"Yes," Trump said, when responding to a question whether he really had plans to build a fence along the border.

"I would [accept the fence], but there are areas where the wall is more appropriate," he said in an interview with the CBS News' 60 minutes show.
