MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Two police officers were shot in the US state of Pennsylvania in the early hours of Thursday, local media reported.
According to the WJPA radio, the incident happened in the town of Canonsburg. The officers were responding to a domestic disturbance at 03:30 local time (08:30 GMT).
Mayor Dave Rhome confirmed to the media outlet that two officers had been shot, but did not know in what condition they were. One officer was reportedly airlifted to a hospital.
A manhunt for the suspect is reportedly underway.
