WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Hillary Clinton’s failure to make the traditional public concession speech prompted a gracious and empathetic assessment from Donald Trump campaign chief Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday.
"It’s not for us to judge her conduct," Conway said on network television’s Today show. "She has to do that on her own comfortable time."
Clinton privately conceded the US presidential election in an earlier phone call to President-elect Donald Trump, which Conway described as both "warm" and "cordial."
Clinton also plans to address supporters and the nation at 9:30 a.m. (2:30 p.m. GMT) on Wednesday.
