WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — In Indiana, Republican Todd Young led Democratic former governor Evan Bayh by 54.5 percent to 40.1 percent with 29 percent of the votes counted, according to AP figures.
In Florida incumbent Senator Marco Rubio led Representative Patrick Murphy 50.3 percent to 46 percent with 22 percent of the vote counted.
However, in New Hampshire, incumbent Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte trailed badly behind State Governor Maggie Hassan, a Democrat by 55.5 percent to 40.4 percent with six percent of the vote counted.
