WASHINGTON (Sputnik) —Wilson stressed reports any reports of problems have been received.

“Everything that we have received calls about we have been able to get fixed rather quickly either with having a machine vendor go and help with the machine, or just making sure that folks are obeying all the laws. We have not had any major violations.”

The polls opened in West Virginia at 6:30 am EST, and will close at 7:30 pm EST.

“So far we have heard reports of steady to good turnout. So far, in the election of mid-afternoon today,” Wilson said. “We’ll get more reports here in the next hour with additional information. But so far it has been steady and very good.”

On Tuesday, US citizens are electing their new president, as well as all the seats in the House of Representatives, one third of the seats in the Senate, legislative seats in 86 chambers in 44 states, as well as governors in 12 states.
