WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Most voters who have already cast their ballots either through early voting or voting on the morning of Election Day say they are looking forward to the US election being over, a new Morning Consult/Politico poll revealed on Tuesday.
Eighty-five percent of voters say they "just want it to be over," and more than 70 percent are either anxious or nervous about the results of the presidential election, according to the poll.
The poll also found that voters were more interested in voting for the candidate they thought would be the strongest leader, rather than the one who shared their values.
The numbers are expected to change as more voters cast their ballots throughout the day.
