US Presidential Election in Colorado Looking Very Close - VoteCastr
15:11 GMT 08.11.2016 (Updated: 11:22 GMT 06.08.2022) According to VoteCastr, Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 2.7 points, 46.3 percent to 43.6 percent, based on early vote estimates.
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — An early vote estimate in the US state of Colorado shows the race between the Republican and Democratic nominees, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, looking extremely close, VoteCastr estimated on Tuesday.
"Based on the 1.53 million early votes VoteCastr has run through its model, Clinton leads Trump by 2.7 points, 46.3 percent to 43.6 percent," VoteCastr stated.
7 November 2016, 13:03 GMT
VoteCastr added it expects a total of 2.815 million total votes will be cast in the state by the end of the day, "meaning the early votes we have so far represent 54.4 percent of the total expected vote."
VoteCastr pointed out it is not predicting a Clinton win in Colorado, just that she has a higher projected number of the known ballots cast than Trump.
