WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Almost 6.5 million residents of Florida have participated in the early voting, compared to some 6 million that took part in the election during the race between George W. Bush and Al Gore in 2000, CNN reported on Monday, citing data from the Florida secretary of state's office.
At present, Democratic and Republican presidential nominees Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are virtually tied in Florida with 46 to 45 percent of likely voter support, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll released on Monday.
