US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is leading her Republican rival, Donald Trump, in five electorally important swing states, new surveys from Public Policy Polling (PPP) revealed Friday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The PPP polls of likely voters in New Hampshire, Nevada, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and North Carolina each show Clinton with a single-digit lead.

In New Hampshire, Clinton leads Trump, 48 percent to 43 percent; in Nevada, the result is 48 percent to 45 percent; Wisconsin, 48 percent to 41 percent; Pennsylvania, 48 percent to 44 percent; and North Carolina, 49 percent to 47 percent.

None of the polls included any of the minor-party candidates running in November 8 presidential election.
