Awkward Moments in US Presidential Election Race
MOSCOW (Sputnik) The survey discovered that 18 percent of Latino respondents had been warned there would be difficulties when they go to the polls on November 8.

Voters of Mexican descent were the largest ethnic group that feared they would not be able to cast the ballots. A quarter of them said they had concerns about their voting prospects.

Hispanic voters make up around a third of the total US electorate. The National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials estimates that 27.3 million Latinos are eligible to vote this year. NALEO has requested that the Department of Justice send observers to polling stations where Latino voters could face discrimination.
