US House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan explained what could happen if Hillary Clinton wins the presidential election on November 8.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US House of Representatives Speaker Paul Ryan said Tuesday he has already cast his ballot for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in early voting, and he warned of a nation paralyzed with scandal if rival candidate Hillary Clinton wins.

"I already voted here in Janesville [Wisconsin] for our nominee [Donald Trump] last week in early voting," Ryan told Fox News.

Ryan said he has been crisscrossing the country to speak on behalf of Trump and Republican candidates for the US Congress who face re-election challenges ahead of the November 8 vote.

The fallout from the Clinton email scandal gives a preview of another Clinton administration, Ryan explained.

“This is what life with the Clintons looks like,” he said. “It’s always a scandal, one after another, then there’s an investigation and what happens is you never know what’s coming next.”

The House impeached former President Bill Clinton for lying about an affair with a White House intern but the Senate voted against conviction, which would have removed the president from office.
