The national finance director for the Clinton campaign Dennis Cheng warned of Turkish president’s investments to US policymakers and Democratic candidates, including Hillary Clinton, aimed at fighting Ankara's opposition, the WikiLeaks whistleblowing website revealed on Saturday.

While Hillary Clinton was US Secretary of State, The Clinton Foundation received millions of dollars from foreign governments, and at least one contribution was in violation of a State Department ethics agreement, the Washington Post reports. - Sputnik International
Clinton Foundation Should Return All Foreign Donations - Republican Chairman
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, WikiLeaks uploaded the 22nd batch of emails of the US Democratic Party presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta.

"John, heard this second hand but more than once. Seems Erdogan faction is making substantial investments in U.S. to counter opposition (CHP, Kurds, Gulenists etc.) outreach to policymakers and USG. Am told that the Erdogan crew also tries to make inroads via donations to Democratic candidates, including yours," Cheng said in an email addressed to Clinton's campaign chair John Podesta on August 20, 2015.

In the same letter, Cheng named two people, Turkish-American national community leader and businessman Mehmet Celebi and executive vice president of the Turkish Heritage Organization Ali Cinar, who Podesta should be aware of and expressed his willingness to elaborate the issue on the phone.
