US Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager Robby Mook did not know the extent of the problem surrounding the ex-secretary of state's use of a personal email account for government correspondence, his emails revealed Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On March 2, 2015, when the New York Times reported on the former secretary of state's private email account, Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta emailed Mook to ask if he knew about the extent of the situation.

"We brought up the existence of emails in research this summer but were told everything was taken care of," Mook replied in an email, published by WikiLeaks.

Earlier on Thursday, WikiLeaks uploaded the 20th batch of emails of Clinton’s campaign chairman on their website.

WikiLeaks published the first batch of emails on October 8.
