'Putin,' 'Russia' Mentioned Most Often During US President Debates

US presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have mentioned "Russia" and "Putin" at the debates more often than any other subject, including terrorism and Daesh terrorist group, WikiLeaks said Saturday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to WikiLeaks statistics published on its Twitter account, "Russia/Putin" was mentioned 178 times in total over the course of the presidential debates this year.

​"ISIS/ISIL/Terrorism/al-Qaida" was the second hottest topic with 132 mentions.

Tax policy was mentioned 119 times, while the subject of Trump's tax returns 80 times.

Syria was mentioned by the two US presidential candidates 71 times.

The least addressed issues are "Poverty/The Poor" and "LGBT/Gay/Trans/Marriage Equality," as well as "Environment," among others, according to WikiLeaks.

"Yemen," "NSA/Privacy/Surveillance" and "Native Americans" were not mentioned at all.

US citizens are set to elect a new president on November 8.
