A “real feud” between US President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was acknowledged by Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman, John Podesta, in a May 2015 exchange with his daughter, according to an email disclosed by WikiLeaks on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Podesta wrote this in an email detailing Clinton’s commitment to Israel after Megan Rouse, his daughter, had asked for advice in discussing the matter with critics of the eventual Democratic Party nominee.

“Obama developed a real feud with Bibi [Netanyahu],” Podesta said in an email dated May 12, 2015.

According to Rouse’s email to her father, some people had expressed fear that Clinton could become “the most unfriendly [US president] to Israel in our history, worse than Obama."

On October 8, WikiLeaks began releasing emails to and from Podesta. Since then, the secret-documents website has released 11 additional troves of emails, with the latest on Wednesday.
