WASHINGTON (Sputnik) – Terrorism has not been completely ruled out as a cause of the deadly commuter train crash in Hoboken, New Jersey on Thursday morning, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said in a press briefing.
"At this point I’m not aware of any evidence that has been uncovered that would draw that kind of linkage but this is something that the National Transportation Safety Board is continuing to look at, so I think it’s too soon to rule that out, but at this point I’m not aware of any evidence that would raise those kinds of concerns at this point," Earnest stated on Thursday.
