US Law Enforcement Officials Identify 'Person of Interest' in New York Bombing

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to the ABC broadcaster citing, the detentions took place, following a traffic stop on the Verrazano–Narrows Bridge connecting Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Earlier in the day, Senator Marty Golden stated, citing the New York police, that several people were detained in the region near the bridge.

On Saturday, a total of 29 people have been injured in the explosion that hit New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan on Saturday night. Another device was found in the region but it had failed to detonate.
