US Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton announced her intention to get back to her electoral campaign as soon as possible after her recent health problems.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Clinton abruptly left Sunday’s 9/11 anniversary service and canceled her two-day trip to California due to poor health condition. Hours later, her personal physician announced she was diagnosed with pneumonia.

"So I just want to get this over and done with and get back on the trail as soon as possible," Clinton said in an interview on CNN on Monday night, adding that she was feeling much better.

The US presidential hopeful is due to compete with her Republican rival Donald Trump for the US presidency at the elections scheduled for November 8. The candidates were nominated in July during their parties' respective conventions.
