MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Clinton is leading Trump 46 to 41 percent nationwide, the poll revealed late on Saturday. However, Trump’s supporters express greater interest in the campaign and voting process than those of Clinton, which could impact the turnout and the results of the race, it showed.
Two other contenders for the US presidential seat, Libertarian Party’s Gary Johnson and Green Party's Jill Stein, received 9 and 2 percent support, respectively.
The survey was held on September 5-8 among 642 registered voters.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 8.
