The leader of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz crashed the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio on Wednesday to shame her Republican opponents.

CLEVELAND (Sputnik) — Wasserman-Schultz is a strong supporter of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, who has been the object of scorn and severe criticism at the Republican convention.

"I’m making sure that people understand that we are better than this," Wasserman-Schultz told Sputnik when asked why she was attending the Republican Party’s national convention.

Earlier in the week, the DNC chair criticized the Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump as divisive, bigoted, unprepared and unqualified to take the White House in November.
