MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Saturday night, the police received a report of a shooting at the Parrish Medical center. The incident occurred on the third floor of the medical institution.
"On Parrish Medical shooting, Victims are an elderly female patient, & female hospital employee. unk [unknown] motive," Titusville Police wrote on Twitter.
Earlier in the day, the Municipal police department in Titusville reported that the attacker was detained. The identity of the shooter was not disclosed.
Titusville is located 64 kilometers (40 miles) east of Orlando, where on June 12 a deadly mass shooting that left 49 people dead took place.
