Dallas Attack Shows 'US Not Making Conclusions' From Similar Events
WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Five Dallas police officers were shot and killed at a protest in the city that took place following the death of two black men who were killed by police in separate incidents in Louisiana and Minnesota.

"This is a time, perhaps more than ever, for strong leadership, love and compassion," Trump stated in the statement.

Trump noted in the statement that the United States has went too far on a course of division among its citizens.

"Our nation has become too divided. "Racial tensions have gotten worse, not better," he said.

Trump called for restoring law and order as well as confidence so that citizens can feel safe in their homes and in public.

The presumptive Republican presidential nominee has canceled all planned campaign events in the state of Florida today in response to the deadly shooting in Texas.
