    Obama to Make Forceful Case About Clinton Qualifications at Campaign Event

    US President Barack Obama plans to stress Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s qualifications and values when he appears with her for the first time at a campaign event in North Carolina on Tuesday, White House spokesman Josh Earnest said.

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Obama is making his first appearance on the campaign trail with Clinton in Charlotte, North Carolina.

    "The president will deliver a forceful case about Secretary Clinton’s qualifications and values that she would bring to the job of president of the United States," Earnest stated on Tuesday.

    US Vice President Joe Biden is expected to campaign with Clinton for the first time in Scranton, Pennsylvania on Friday.
