The Platform Committee for the US Democratic Party has released a draft of its platform for 2016.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The 39-page document details the positions the party plans to take on dozens of issues.

The draft platform calls for a $15 an hour minimum wage; rejecting attempts to impose a religious test on immigrants or refugees; creating good paying jobs; as well as enforcing current financial reforms and instituting new ones.

The Democratic Party’s convention website noted the full platform committee will meet in Orlando July 8-9 to approval the final draft.
