US federal prosecutors have called a grand jury seeking to charge Orlando shooter Omar Mateen's wife as accomplice on the charges of murder and attempted murder as well as failure to notify the authorities on the upcoming terrorist attack, local media reported Wednesday, citing a law enforcement source.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Noor Salman, who has been questioned by FBI agents in the days after the attack, knew about her husband's plans, but told no one about them and then lied, the source told Fox News.

On Sunday, the 29-year old shooter opened fire in the Pulse gay nightclub in Orlando, killing 49 people and injuring at least 53 others. He was killed as police stormed the club.
