The Republican Presidential hopeful has announced he will not participate in the next debate.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US presidential candidate Donald Trump has announced on Wednesday that he will not take part in the next Republican debate.

"Nobody even told me about it [the debate]," Trump claimed in an interview with Fox News. "I think we have had enough debates. I won't be there."

The billionaire noted that he will be giving a "major speech" in front of "a very important group of people" on the night of the debate scheduled for March 21.

"How many time can the same people ask you the same questions?" Trump continued. "I was very surprised when Fox called for the debate."

Trump has won most US Republican presidential primaries and caucuses to date. On Tuesday, he claimed victories in three major states of Florida, North Carolina and Illinois.
