Why Bernie’s Not Going Anywhere Despite Hillary’s Super Tuesday Wins
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Senator Bernie Sanders has so far secured victory in the Democratic presidential nomination contest in two states, Kansas and Nebraska, media reported.

The Kansas state Democratic party told CNN Senator Sanders won the caucuses. In Nebraska, Sanders secured 55 percent of the vote, compared to his main rival Hillary Clinton securing 45 percent of voters' support.

Sanders is currently in the second place, behind Hillary Clinton, in the Democratic presidential race. On Saturday, Clinton won in the Louisiana primary vote.

The Senator has distinguished his candidacy by refusing to set up a Super PAC (political action committee) for his campaign, stressing that the campaign "is about transforming" the United States when addressing supporters in his home state of Vermont.

Saturday’s Democrats races included Nebraska, Kansas and Louisiana, while the Republican also voted in Maine, Kentucky and Louisiana.
