Head of the Russian Consulate General in Seattle Andrey Yushmanov said that the remote location of the town in the US state of Washington in which two allegedly Russian boys were shot makes the investigation more time-consuming.

MOSCOW (Sputnik), Anastasia Levchenko — The remote location of the town in the US state of Washington in which two allegedly Russian boys were shot makes the investigation more time-consuming, head of the Russian Consulate General in Seattle Andrey Yushmanov told Sputnik on Saturday.

According to Yushmanov, a team from the Consulate will reveal new information on the case when it arrives in the town.

"It is 40 kilometers [25 miles] away from Seattle, but it is a town across the bay, on a peninsula, so you can only get there if you make a big detour on the ground which takes a long time, or take a ferry to an island, and then again go to the mainland. Therefore, you cannot expect the information from our personnel on the site to be sent quickly," Yushmanov said.
