WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A recently released ISIL terrorist video threatening an attack on the White House is being reviewed, a US Secret Service official told Sputnik on Thursday.

"Yes we are aware [of the video]," the Secret Service official told Sputnik. "We will handle as we would any situation."

Earlier on Thursday, Fox News quoted ISIL warning in the video it would blow up the White House.

The latest ISIL threat comes after the terror group claimed responsibility for the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris last Friday, which killed at least 132 people and wounded more than 350 others.

Following the Paris attacks, the ISIL threated attacks around Europe and in the United States.
