WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Trump has gained 32 percent support, the poll results showed. His favorability has increased 8 percent since August and 20 percent since June.
The billionaire businessman is followed by neurosurgeon Ben Carson, who enjoys 19 percent support from votes, a 10 percent increase since August.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush holds the third position among Republican candidates with 9 percent support. However, Bush’s popularity has decreased 13 percent since August.
In August, Trump and Carson were tied in the leading position with 23 percent support from Iowa Republican voters, according to a poll by Monmouth University Polling Institute.
The 2016 Republican presidential primary elections are scheduled to start with a vote in Iowa and New Hampshire in January 2016.
