NEW YORK (Sputnik) — Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani will testify during an upcoming hearing on the challenges in a post-September 11 world, the Committee on Homeland Security said in a statement.
"Announced for Ground Zero hearing… Former Mayor Giuliani," the statement read.
The hearing will revisit important lessons learned and assess US readiness to confront the viral spread of terror, the Committee on Homeland Security explained.
It will also include testimony from New York City Police Commissioner Bill Bratton and the New York Fire Department Commissioner Daniel Nigro.
The hearing will take place at the National September 11 Memorial and Museum on September 8.
