    According to a senior Democrat Vice President Joe Biden has received President Obama’s “blessing” to enter the 2016 presidential race, if he chooses to do so.

    While Biden has neither confirmed nor denied his intention to enter the presidential race, the topic did come up during a lunch between Biden and Obama on Monday. According to CNN, anonymous sources say that the President made clear he would not counsel Biden against running.

    Sources say that the Vice President leaning toward throwing his hat into the ring, but has not yet made up his mind.

    Biden also met with Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren over the weekend, further suggesting his intention to enter the 2016 race.
