    Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near the campus of the University of Maryland.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Three people have been killed in a shooting that took place a few blocks east of the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore, local police said on Wednesday.

    Police later confirmed that three of the victims had been pronounced dead, the Baltimore Sun reported.

    The assailants reportedly arrived at the scene in “two light-colored vans” just before 11 p.m. local time (03:00 GMT).
