WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Valerie Jarrett oversees the White House Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs offices.
“The dad, maternal grandpa and father-in-law of President Obama’s trusted senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett, were hardcore communists under investigation by the US government.”
Judicial Watch found the information after obtaining files from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The organization argued that Jarett has been “faithful to her roots” and still has connections to Communist and extremist groups.
“It’s been well documented that Valerie Jarrett, a Chicago lawyer and longtime Obama confidant, is a liberal extremist who wields tremendous power in the White House.”

Valerie Jarrett assumed office in 2009 and has been working to improve access to the middle class, boost American businesses and to champion equality and opportunity, according to the White House.
In 2014, Judicial Watch released a statement saying Jarrett played a key role in an attempt to cover up US Attorney General Eric Holder’s lie to Congress about an “experiment” that involved smuggling guns to Mexico, so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.
