Responding to neighborhood complaints, Casebolt was filmed tackling a black 14-year-old girl to the ground, pinning her beneath his knee, and then aiming his gun at a group of teenage boys.

The officer’s reaction was seen as being grossly overblown, given that none of the teenagers presented a threat, and many saw it as the latest example of a white officer unfairly targeting black minorities with excessive force.
While a dozen officers were involved in the incident, Casebolt is the only who has been identified at this time.
