WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — A Friday afternoon court date was set for the man accused of a quadruple homicide in a Washington, DC last week, after he was arrested a day earlier in a manhunt that extended to the US state of New York, local media reported.
“Daron Dylon Wint, 34, who had once worked for the company run by one of the victims, is scheduled to make his first court appearance Friday afternoon,” NBC 4 Washington reported on Friday.
On May 14, 2015, the authorities found the bodies of Savvas Savopoulos, 46; his wife, Amy Savopoulos, 47; and their son, Philip, as well as their housekeeper, Veralicia Fegueroa, 57, inside a mansion in Wasington, DC that had been set on fire, according to reports.
According to reports, the victims had likely lived through the night before they died, while someone ordered a pizza to their home.

Authorities said they still not sure exactly how Savvas Savopoulos died, but the other three victims had been beaten and stabbed to death.
Local media reported on Friday that police have not yet ruled out whether other people were involved in the murder, but other suspects have not been identified.
