Though it’s unclear how the dispute began, and a motive has not been established, Bergen County prosecutor John Molinelli said there was a “history of domestic issues” between centenarian Michael Juskin and his 88-year old wife Rosalina.

Police were notified of the couple’s bodies when a relative called the authorities, and the deaths were announced on Monday. Authorities do not believe anyone else was in the home.

Neighbor Barbara Szczecina said she saw Rosalina sitting on her front porch that Saturday morning.

"She used to be in her garden all the time," Szczecina said. "They were always together, putzing around outside."
