WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has set up headquarters for her potential 2016 presidential campaign in Brooklyn, New York by signing a lease for two floors of office space, according to media reports.
“Clinton’s nascent campaign signed a lease for two floors of office space at 1 Pierrepont Plaza in Brooklyn,” CNN reported on Friday. “Clinton and her team coalesced around Brooklyn last month, according to multiple sources, after considering headquartering the campaign in other New York City neighborhoods.”
Clinton supporters say Brooklyn has been a prime location for attracting skilled people to the New York City area, offering them added benefits of an ethnically and socio-economically diverse community while being close to New York City.
Clinton already has unpaid volunteers working for her unannounced campaign, according to media reports.
