    A fire in the Los Angeles Wilmington Hotel early on Thursday killed one person and left nearly ten injured, LA Fire Department (LAFD) said.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Local media reported earlier in the day that the blaze in the hotel in Wilmington had left several people trapped inside.

    "Over 100 #firefighters in 50 min. Sadly 1 person determined dead inside," LAFD posted on Twitter.

    According to another tweet by LAFD, there are approximately 10 injured people, including one child with minor to serious injuries.

    The cause of the blaze is currently being investigated, LAFD said.
