MOSCOW, March 21 (Sputnik) – Seven children aged 5 to 15 were killed early Saturday morning in a house fire in Brooklyn, New York, NBC News reported citing New York Fire Department.
Fire officials said that the victims died in local hospitals after having been evacuated from the scene. Two more people, an adult and a child, have been injured and remain in critical condition.

Firefighters received a call about the blaze in Brooklyn's Midwood neighborhood shortly after midnight on Saturday. More than 100 firefighters arrived at the scene and brought the blaze under control.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
