BRUSSELS (Sputnik) - EC has responded to a request from Nord Stream 2 AG, the operator of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, stating that EC experts are ready to meet and listen to arguments in favour of excluding the project from amendments to the EU Gas Directive, Press Officer for Climate Action and Energy Lynn Rietdorf told Sputnik on Monday.

BRUSSELS (Sputnik) - Budapest is interested in considering alternative gas supply routes from the south, given the uncertainty surrounding the future of Russian gas transit via Ukraine in light of the nearing expiry of the relevant contract between Moscow and Kiev, the Hungarian foreign minister said.
