After a long year of waiting, football fans are finally able to enjoy the much-anticipated UEFA Euro 2020 that kicked off on 11 June. The tournament was originally scheduled for June 2020, but had to be postponed for a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Sputnik is live from Flat Iron Square in London, UK as fans are gathering to watch England and Croatia clash in a Group D match of the UEFA Euro 2020 tournament at Wembley Stadium.

This is the first outing for both teams in the tournament that began on 11 June. They are also expected to face off with Scotland and the Czech Republic in the coming week.

UEFA Euro 2020 matches are taking place across 11 cities including Saint Petersburg, Baku, London, Rome, and Amsterdam. The tournament is expected to last until 11 July.
