Russian, Namibian Olympic Committees Sign Memorandum of Understanding

The Russian National Olympic Committee (ROC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Namibian National Olympic Committee (NNOC).

RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – The document was signed by ROC President Alexander Zhukov and NNOC President Abner Xoagub on Friday in Rio de Janeiro, where the 2016 Summer Olympic Games are being held, an R-Sport correspondent reported.

Earlier, the ROC signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Olympic Committee of Slovakia (SOC).

The 2016 Summer Olympic Games are being held in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro from August 5 until August 21. Brazil is the first South American country to host the competition.
