    US swimmer Michael Phelps got his 20th Olympic gold medal having won men’s 200 meters butterfly at the Rio Olympics.

    RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) – Phelps completed the distance in 113.36 seconds while Japan’s Masato Sakai, who won the silver medal – in 113.40 seconds. Hungarian swimmer Tamas Kenderesi won the bronze medal.

    Phelps has become the only 20-fold Olympic champion in the sports history. No other athlete has won even 10 Olympic gold medals.
