    Hungarian swimmer Katinka Hosszu won a gold medal of the Rio Olympic Games in women's 400m individual medley and beat the world record in the discipline.

    RIO DE JANEIRO (Sputnik) — Hosszu completed the distance in four minutes 26,36 seconds. The previous record of four minutes 28,43 seconds was set by Chinese swimmer Ye Shiwen at 2012 London Olympics.
