MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The International Olympic Committee (IOC), in its Sunday announcement following last week’s World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) report implicating Russian sport in banned substance use, delegated the decision on whether to ban Russian athletes from the August 5-21 games to individual federations.

"We received a letter from the international federation. It confirmed eight people who submitted 205 [doping] samples abroad since 2014 and are not facing any complaints," Tarpishchev told R-Sport by phone.
