The International Olympic Committee (IOC) may consider banning more Russian sports federations from the 2016 Rio Olympics at June 21’s summit in Lausanne, a German magazine reported Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) The magazine Spiegel cited sources coming to the meeting in the Swiss city next Tuesday as saying that Russia’s entire National Olympic Committee (NOC) could be suspended in the wake of the doping scandal.

The agenda of the meeting will be decided by IOC President Thomas Bach, who is expected to consult Russian President Vladimir Putin, the outlet added.

On Friday, the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) confirmed the decision to suspend Russian track and field athletes from August’s Olympics in Brazil over last year’s doping allegations.
