Portugal's national football team played in a draw with the team of Iceland at UEFA’s Euro 2016 tournament in France.

SAINT-ETIENNE (Sputnik) — The meeting of Group F, which took place on Tuesday in Saint-Etienne, ended with the score 1:1. Portugal's Luis Nani and Iceland's Birkir Bjarnason scored at the 31st and 50th minutes, respectively.

Some two hours before the start of the match the spectators were briefly evacuated due to a false alarm. The Portuguese and Icelandic football fans were asked to leave the arena for a quick check of the stadium.

In the next match on June 18, Portugal will play against Austria in Paris, while the Icelanders will meet the Hungarian team in Marseille on the same day.
