Team Red Bull Gives Russian Racer Wings to Finish 3rd in Chinese Grand Prix

Russian Formula-1 racer Danyyl Kvyat finished in third place at the Chinese Grand Prix, marking the second time in his life that he's stood on the winners' podium.

Danyyl Kvyat, a 21-year-old Russian race car driver and member of the Red Bull team, finished a race in the top 3 for the second time in his career.

​China's Formula-1 Grand Prix was the third major race of the 2016 race season. Last year Danyyl Kvyat finished second in Hungary's Grand Prix.

​The winner was the Mercedes team's German driver Nico Rosberg. Ferrari team member Sebastian Vettel, also from Germany, placed second. 

The fourth race in the Formula-1 Grand Prix season will be held in the Russian city of Sochi from April 29 until May 1.
