MOSCOW, July 26 (R-Sport) – Russian football team CSKA Moscow are sufficiently replete with talent to make up for the "huge loss" of striker Vagner Love, defender Sergei Iganishevich was quoted as saying Friday.

The Brazilian, 29, shocked the football world this week by accepting a money-spinning transfer to Chinese side Shandong Luneng at the peak of his career.

"It's a huge loss," said stalwart center-back Ignashevich in comments to business daily Kommersant.

As potential replacements he picked out attacking duo Keisuke Honda and Alan Dzagoev, who have also been linked with moves away from the Army side, as well as front man Seydou Doumbia.

"They can play in this position. Of course it would be great if we bought another striker," the 34-year-old Ignashevich said.

Vagner Love, the Russian Premier League's top-scoring foreigner of all time, left in a 12 million euro deal that he described as a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity that would set him up for life.

The shock was not confined to the outside world.

"We only found out about Vagner's transfer when he came to say goodbye," Ignashvich said. "It was really unexpected for everyone."

CSKA, the reigning Russian league champions, have four points from their opening two games and play city rivals Lokomotiv on Sunday.
